Down, But Not Out with Jerry Ashton

Jerry Ashton is an industry-respected executive with over thirty years experience in the world of accounts receivable controls, credit, collections and customer service.  Jerry’s alternative approaches to customer service, credit and collections – one in which the relationship with the customer are equally as important as the money owed – has caused him to be considered the “burr under the saddle” for financial institutions, collection agencies and debt buying companies that employ abusive and/or illegal tactics to pry money out of their “deadbeat consumers.” When not working on WOAA (Written Off – America and Americans) or writing blogs and articles for the credit and collections industry, he can be found consulting in TQRM (Total Quality Relationship Management) in corporations and training associations throughout the world.  Jerry is a graduate of San Jose State University, San Jose, CA, and resides in New York City with his wife, Kate.
