We are in the era of eBooks – they are here to stay. But that doesn’t mean that as authors, we can just sit down at the computer and write a book, having instant success as a publisher, or that we make any money for all the blood, sweat, and time invested in the process.

Guy Kawasaki, the author of the New York Times bestseller, Enchantment, self published his next book What the Plus!,  and learned first-hand that self-publishing is a complex, confusing, and idiosyncratic process. Because of this experience, Guy, along with co-author, tech wizard, Shawn Welch, wrote APE: Author, Publisher, Entrepreneur—How to Publish a Book to help us take control and get real about getting our book, and our messages, out there to the world.
