This week on Global Vision Colleen Pyke talks with Michael Sandler, author of Barefoot Running. How to run light and free by getting in touch with the Earth. Sandler discovered barefoot running after a near fatal accident left him with a broken arm, broken hip and shattered femur. Doctors told him he’d never run again, but one day frustrated he threw off his fancy running shoes and walked home barefoot. After practicing, iceing, and more practice Michael Sandler discovered he could run faster and lighter than ever before: by running barefoot!
