The Wall Street “Occupiers.” Who are these people? What are their demands? Why do they believe they need to be heard? Exactly what is the – or, are the – messages they want us to hear? This show, recorded at the Ground Zero (Liberty Plaza) of America’s first true people’s movement since the days’ of the Vietnam War protests, addresses the mixed “reviews” from the public at large.

As to be expected, the movement is being actively denounced by those on the right (but not all) as voiced through their corporate media mouthpiece, Fox News. It has caused confusion but is garnering increased support on the part of those on the left, by way of Union Groups, students, and finally many in the Democratic party.

Finally, you will have a chance to hear from a number of those actually involved in the Occupy movement…and, in depth. No “sound bytes” and no attempt at spin. In their own words…

Let’s start with just their first names, such as Yesenia, Robert B, Robert E, Walter, Steven, Paul, Patricia & Victoria…they’ll provide their last names in the interview. Let’s also say that they seem to be a fair cross-section of the 1,000’s at Liberty Square: we have multi-campaign veterans, a nurse, student, strident activist…and even a poet. They each have a different point to make, a different story to tell. In their own words…
