Also visiting Colin Lively and Friends will be another beloved Clevelander, Dianne Borsenik. Susan Lawrence is a West Virginia woman with a purpose and a challenge. She brings mountain kids to NYC by the hundreds. She remembers the impact NYC had on her when as a little girl she came to the city for the first time. Miss Lawrence knows that the earlier a person can see great art, theater, and eat in fine restaurants, the better they will be prepared for life. Going through a revolving door. On an escalator for the first time. She is devotee of fashion and art, and passes it on to the kids. Also will be joined by Bandstand Bonnie Nadley, and her memories of dancing on American Bandstand and Dick Clark. Last week Dick died, and Bonnie and I will talk about him..And when he meant to our generation.
Colin and pals, Judy Stadt and Susie Sexton decide to do a little play called There is a Werewolf in Town… then Susie Sexton sticks around and talks about , perhaps, Margaret Mitchell did not write Gone With the Wind…and , perhaps, Harper Lee didn’t write To Kill a Mockingbird.. and she gives plenty of reasons to disbelieve the penning of each…Hmmmm…a whole show full of suspense and madness…
Joshua and I are going to be talking about the technology age and older people having life experience, but not tech savvy……And we are also going to be talking about the hairdressing business from both sides of the chair….the client’s point of view…..and the hairdresser’s.
On the segment with Judy Stadt and Bobbie Horowitz , we will be talking about entrepreneurship as a Woman…
Colin Lively hails from the mountains of Rainelle, W. Virginia. As a young boy he watched Guy Lombardo playing his orchestra on television and Colin dreamed of himself becoming one of the gorgeous women dancing at the Waldorf Astoria dressed all in satin, diamonds and furs. He imagined himself a welcomed guest at that party surrounded by the “beautiful people”. Well, he’s made his childhood dream come true … and has become a story teller, a NYC party boy, at one with the people living the glamorous life, and Colin now shares the charm of his COUNTRY history with you from THE CITY of New York. Listen and enjoy his unique take on NY fashion, nightlife show business, and his friends … the people who create it. His shows are filled with wonder, fun and adventure and YOU will be his guest. Listen, laugh and learn about WGRN’s newest star and meet COLIN LIVELY & FRIENDS!
